Der Musikverein Neuruppin bietet in seinem nächsten Klassik-Konzert am 28. Februar einen ausgewiesenen Stargast auf: Die russische Pianistin Valentina Igoshina gewann 1993 den Rubinstein-Wettbewerb in Polen und 1997 den Internationalen Rachmaninov-Klavierwettbewerb in Moskau. 2003 spielte sie sich ins Finale des Internationalen Queen-Elizabeth-Wettbewerbs.
Das Solokonzert eröffnet die Pianistin mit Ludwig van Beethovens Sonate Nr. 17 d-Moll und den Schubert-Liedern Gretchen am Spinnrad, Ständchen und Erlkönig, die Franz Liszt für Klavier arrangierte. Den zweiten Teil des Klavierabends widmet Valentina Igoshina dem großen polnischen Meister Frédéric Chopin, dessen 200. Geburtstag zwei Tage später weltweit gefeiert wird. Das Konzert findet in der Lobby des Seehotels Fontane mit Blick auf den Ruppiner See statt. Beginn ist 17 Uhr. Karten gibt es unter 03391-458459.

Ceux qui ont assisté à son récital Chopin l’an dernier n’en sont toujours pas revenus. Limpidité, musicalité, technique époustouflante, sensibilité… : cette pianiste française d’origine russe a été formée à la très exigeante école russe de piano et a su intégrer tout ce que notre culture plus latine a de meilleur. On se réjouit donc à l’idée de l’entendre donner sa version d’œuvres majeures du répertoire.
Valentina Igoshina commencera avec Chopin, dont on célèbre cette année le bicentenaire de la naissance ; au menu Polonaise, Nocturne, Valses…. émerveillement garanti ! Le programme se poursuivra avec la 17e sonate pour piano de Ludwig van Beethoven – on pourra là comprendre pourquoi les grands pianistes russes ont tous été de grands beethovéniens – et trois transcriptions par Franz Liszt de Lieder de Franz Schubert.
Le magnifique Théâtre Saint-Bonnet de Bourges dirigé par ses propriétaires-créateurs Anne-Marie et Franck Ciup accueilleront deux artistes Lontano en 2010:

One of the most outstanding modern-day classical pianists, Valentina Igoshina, “the new star of the legendary Russian piano school” is joining the Macao Orchestra and Conductor Lü Jia on stage tomorrow at 8pm at the Macao Tower Auditorium.
Valentina shows in each of her performances the difference between being a good pianist and being an artist. Macao will be subject to the mesmerizing effect of seeing a true creative spirit in action.
The challenge that Igoshina will face tomorrow evening constitutes an exponential model of ’s virtuosic and orchestral writing. The composer’s Second Piano Concerto is widely considered to be his masterpiece and has even been compared to Tchaikovsky’s famous Piano Concerto No.1. colourful harmony and appealing melody, together with its combination of both classical and romantic styles, produce a sense of special enchantment and make it the most beloved piano concerto in Russia and one of the most popular around the world.
After seeing her performance of ‘Rach 2’, music critic Mario Cordova said “Valentina Igoshina proved to be a pianist of the highest order whose brilliant technical ability brought an indisputable triumph when playing the famous and complex Rachmaninov No. 2.” (Las Ultimas Noticia, 2007). Valentina Igoshina has participated in numerous recitals and musical festivals all over the world, consistently giving rise to the most enthusiastic critical acclaim.
Igoshina has been invited by such famous orchestras as BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in the United Kingdom or the Concertgebouw Royal Orchestra in Amsterdam. She has also participated in various recordings and has received countless international awards, which renders her career one of the most vertiginous and exciting ones in the classical pianistic panorama. Tomorrow’s concert will certainly confirm it once again.
In addition to Rachmaninov’s Concerto, the repertoire will also feature Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 9 (“The Great”), whose vigorous rhythm expresses the fervor of passion and the vitality of youth. With this work of genius, Schubert reached the height of his poetic conception and imagination. A wonderful piece, with which the Macao Orchestra is sure to enthrall the audience at the Macao Tower Auditorium.

Valentina IGOSHINA est née à Bryansk (Russie) en 1978. Elle est diplômée du Conservatoire Tchaikovski de Moscou, où elle a été l’élève de Larissa Dedova et de Sergueï Dorensky.
Valentina IGOSHINA est lauréate de plusieurs concours internationaux : Concours Rubinstein en Pologne en 1993 (1er Prix) , Concours International de Piano Serge Rachmaninov à Moscou en 1997 (1er Prix) , Concours International Reine Elisabeth à Bruxelles en 2003 (finaliste) , Concours International de Piano « José Iturbi » à Valence en Espagne en 2006 (2ème Prix) .
Valentina IGOSHINA s’est produite à Londres au Queen Elizabeth Hall dans la série « Harrods International Piano Series ». Elle a donné des récitals à Zürich à la Tonhalle, à Milan dans la série La Societa dei Concerti, à Paris au Théâtre de l’Athénée, à Toulouse au Cloître des Jacobins et a participé à de nombreux festivals tels que Radio France-Montpellier, La Roque d’Anthéron (France), Ravello Music (Italie), Dushniki Zdroi (Pologne), Povoa de Varzim et au Festival de Belem à Lisbonne (Portugal), le Styriarte à Graz (Autriche)
Elle a été l’invitée du Hallé et de l’Orchestre symphonique de la BBC Ecosse au Royaume-Uni , de l’Orchestre Royal Concertgebouw à Amsterdam et de l’Orchestre Royal Philharmonique de Galice en Espagne
Parmi ses prochains engagements, on peut citer des concerts avec l’Orchestre Symphonique de Barcelone (Rhapsodie sur un thème de Paganini de Rachmaninov ), l’Orchestre de Santiago du Chili (concerto n°1 de Chopin) , l’Orchestre Royal Philharmonique de Galice (concerto n°2 de Prokofiev).
Valentina IGOSHINA a signé son premier disque chez Warner Classics Int. consacré à Moussorgsky « Tableaux d’une exposition » et à Schumann « Carnaval » en 2005.
On l’a aussi entendue lors d’émissions radiodiffusées en direct par la BBC et Classic FM au Royaume-Uni et l’on peut aussi la voir et l’entendre jouer des pièces de Rachmaninov et de Chopin respectivement dans les deux biographies réalisées par Tony Palmer, « The Harvest of Sorrow » (1998) dédié à Serge Rachmaninov, et « the Mystery of Chopin : The Strange Case of Delphina Potocka » (1999, publiée en DVD en 2001. Un DVD a été réalisé par Claverdons Film à Londres (distribution Warner Vision).
L’enregistrement de l’intégrale des valses de Frédéric Chopin est son deuxième CD publié chez Lontano (distribution Warner Classics and Jazz).
Créée en 2005 par Pierre-Alexandre Mati, la Société Lontano est née de l’attente de musiciens, internationalement reconnus, et de leur désir de faire partager leur sensibilité artistique avec le public.
Afin de compléter notre métier, qui était à l’origine essentiellement consacré à la production discographique (Distribution mondiale, Warner Classics and Jazz) et à la réalisation de spectacles musicaux avec projection d’images (”Armenia” dont la 1ère avait été donné au Théâtre de l’Athénée Louis-Jouvet de Paris), les dirigeants actuels ont souhaité développer parallèlement une activité dédiée à la production et à la co-production de concerts Classique et Jazz.
Lontano est ainsi devenu Lontano-Productions.
